it's christmas time in the city (toronto!)

toronto christmas market // This is a classic “Christmas in Toronto” activity! The Christmas Market is beautiful, photo worthy and cute as can be! Free entry on weekdays during the day and evenings, and $8 (if you pre-purchase) or $12 for weekends (but don’t go on the weekend, lol) Life Hack = it’s closed on Monday but you can still go and take photos of all the cute signs, shop and eat (just the vendors and entertainment aren’t there)

stackt market (holiday hills) // The Stackt Market is a new outdoor market that came to Toronto this past Summer. They’ve got food, activities, shops and weekly (and daily) events. Looks like they are keeping the holiday fun alive up until the new year, plus they’ve got a little outdoor curling rink! (So cool! We plan to go soon)

crown flora holiday market // One of my favourite little floral shops hosts an awesome market! Curated vendors and lots of great local vendors to help you get your Christmas shopping going! This is taking place on Sunday, December 15th!

vice festive night market // Vice is having a festive night market and it’s obvi going to be cool AF! Located at their head office in Liberty Village, Vice is hosting a night of drinks, snacks, shopping and fun!

get festive specials from swiss chalet // It wouldn’t be Christmas in Canada if you didn’t enjoy a quarter chicken dinner with your loved ones! AKA they just had some cranberry sauce and stuffing but OMG CHRISTMASSSS! Make it happen.

home alone in concert // Yes, this is real life! Everyone’s favourite Christmas movie is putting on an amazing performance by a quartet of brass players from The Glenn Gould School at The Royal Conservatory of Music. Going down Dec 6th & 7th.

go visit santa at dufferin mall // I just feel the need to tell everyone that Santa at Dufferin Mall is legit the best Santa ever, and I get a bit nervous when I see him because it’s the REAL deal! If you’re thinking of getting photos taken with Santa, you should definitely go here! (Also, they do pet photos with Santa too!)

miracle pop up christmas bar // A bar that is Christmas EVERYTHING! This came to Toronto last year and was so cuteee! It’s back again this year (and super close to our house!) on Ossington. A great place to go on a date or with some friends to really get into the holiday spirit. Christmas themed cocktails and treats for all!

the bentway // The newest spot to go for a skate in Toronto with your loved ones! Opening Dec 20th (when it’s good and cold AF!) go skate, hang and celebrate with your fam.

skating + holiday fair at nathan phillips square // It doesn’t get much more “Toronto” than a skating date at Nathan Phillps Square! Glide past the (festive) Toronto sign, drink hot chocolate, enjoy music and pop up market filled with food and shopping vendors!

christmas windows at the bay // Go grab a candy cane hot chocolate or peppermint mocha and admire the festive windows at The Bay on Queen! The setup inside the bay and the eaton centre is super pretty too.

sippin’ santa (tiki christmas bar) // Yes, another Christmas themed bar! This one on Dundas West (v cool!) The decor and drinks look suppppper festive and fun!

christmas at casa loma // Casa Loma has tons of events and activities happening all month long to celebrate Christmas. Beautiful trees, visits with Santa, cookie decorating, skating performers and more!

evergreen’s winter village // Every weekend until December 22nd the holiday fun will be going down at Brick works. Workshops, skating, shopping, oh my!

winterfest at wonderland // Wonderland is transformed into a holiday dream world! Light shows, entertainment, treats, skating, christmas trees and more!

And if you’re looking to give back this holiday season, there are a bunch of local volunteer opportunities listed here.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and it goes by SO fast so let’s enjoy every moment!
