welcome to my new blog//website!!!

OMGGGG! Hi everyone! The day is (finally) here. The new Hey Jules is here!

A few months ago I was thinking about the future of my blog/podcast/online world, and I had to make a decision. I have been blogging for over ten years and it has always been a big part of my life and something I have truly loved to do (and for the most part, have really just done for fun, as a way to document life’s most exciting and special moments) As Pete and I embark on life’s greatest adventure, parenthood - it got me thinking! Now, more than ever I will have a lot to share. I will be able to share more about our baby boy and how he changed our world, motherhood, and things I feel may encourage, inspire and help others navigating this new life.

I'd been on blogger (omg, throwback) since I started blogging and after asking lots of amazing people from my blogging community, square space took the cake as the favourite for a place to host my site. I decided to bite the bullet, mostly because I realized that if I didn’t do this now, I definitely wouldn’t just hash out an entire new website with a new baby!

I am no whiz when it comes to graphic or website design, so I also decided to invest in a really awesome template that was easy to use and really fit my vibe. I found Go Live (and instantly fell in love) and realized it was the perfect fit for Hey Jules! Their templates come with incredible step by step videos on how to implement the design and it made it so much more easy (and fun!) to put my new site together.

I’ve been working on this whenever I’ve been able to find some time here and there over the past few months. It’s not perfect, there is lots to build on and add, but I love what it’s become so far and I need to trust the process.

I think this new refresh is exactly what I need to keep things going and continue to write and share with you all, I hope you’ll come back and stay connected. Thanks for being part of my journey so far!
